I always knew I wanted to be an artist. I wrote and illustrated my first book when I was 10 years old, in an after school art class. It's called "Andy the Apple". My Mom, who is not a saver, kept my little book in a ziplock bag in her desk drawer for twenty five years. I treasure the book today, and thanks to my Mom, I'm able to share it with students when I do school visits.

This is really wierd.. because we have been thinking alike.. now this week is different and I love your darling ladybug... but the wierd part is... I made my daughter into a banana one year! I used Newspaper, lots of elmers glue and yellow paint... it made an oil-cloth like material that I cut and sewed into a Banana...I wonder what your dreams are like? Maybe I'll meet you in one of mine.
